Meet Taylor Williams, LCSW
Your journey to freedom starts here.
Trauma Therapist Online in Scottsdale & Across AZ & CA
Right now, you feel powerless.
I’m Taylor, an EMDR therapist with a heart for people seeking freedom from the pain of narcissistic abuse. I work with adults who grew up in homes that revolved around one person or group demanding total control. You now see how wrong this was and want to rebuild a healthier life. But, deciding who to trust and what to do next is harder than it seems. You’ve probably been discouraged from getting outside help. You’ve spent years doing exactly what they commanded, with little room to ask questions or think for yourself.
You feel like your story is a jumbled mess that will never make sense or have meaning. You’re ready to face the pain of the past and move forward confidently, but taking that next step feels impossible. I want you to know that this is a safe space where you can feel understood and respected. You can trust me to be your guide, but ultimately you are in control here. Let’s map your story and get a plan to resolve things as quickly as possible. I will provide the tools and stay out of your way. You hold the power in our sessions.
Let’s go back to where it all started and achieve lasting change.
Therapy as unique as your story.
My experience as a trauma therapist means there’s nothing you’re going to say that will cause me to judge or abandon you. You won’t scare me off and you won’t need to explain yourself.
I also understand that trauma is ANY experience that negatively impacts you. An event does not have to make news headlines to be considered trauma. You will never need to justify your experiences as “bad enough”.
You may have tried therapy before, only to feel like you couldn’t be fully honest or get to the core issues. You've been through a lot, and you deserve a therapist who understands your needs and helps you get results.
-
We are made in the image of a triune (trinity) God; so we are happiest in loving connection with others.
Therapy helps you think clearly and move forward from the connections that become abusive.
-
Force my faith on you, or undermine your experiences.
Tell you to “forgive & forget”
Pressure you to go to church or reconcile with your abuser(s).
-
Understand the nuances of church culture without you having to explain.
Empathize with your pain, because I’ve been there too.
Help with faith de/reconstruction, because people love to misquote the Bible
Incorporate faith and prayer in your therapy, but only if you want to.
Clients describe me as unshakably loyal. I have never quit on a client and I never will. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or what you’ve been through. You are still in this fight, and I’m ready to join your team. I want to work with you…
…because I love a comeback story.

So why Trinity Mental Health?
The name Trinity Mental Health is a reflection of my personal faith, and my reason for being a therapist. I am not a Christian counselor and I do not provide faith-based therapy. I am a trauma therapist who finds strength in Jesus when things seem especially dark.
So why name my practice Trinity Mental Health? Because you deserve a therapist who is open and honest. Therefore I am clear in the name of my practice that...
…I am a trauma therapist, who is a Christian.
